Download the app

Download the Smartheart app
from the App store or Google Play.
You can find the app by typing
Smartheart in the search box.

Insert the batteries

Pair your Smartheart

Launch the application to view pairing Instructions.
The requested PIN code is the serial Number
on the label of the device.
The process may take up to 2 minutes.

Log into the Application

To Login use your email and
the password that was e-mailed
to you by support.usa@smartheartpro.com


Performing an ECG

Moisten the Body

Moisten with water body parts that
need to come in contact with the
electrodes (left & right arm inner
parts, waist and chest).

Place the Smartheart

Place the Smartheart against the
center of the chest. The belt should be:
• Male: Approximately one centimeter (1/2”) under the nipples.
• Female: Under the breasts, as high as possible.

Tighten the belt.
Position the right arm & waist electrodes.

Identifying the chest size

Drawing an imaginary line between the middle
of the left underarm and the left hipbone. Point
of intersection denoting chest size.
Note: Gender and size will be required by the
application every time a new profile is created.

Launch the app

Tap perform ECG.
Select an existing profile or create a new one for your patient.
Follow the instructions in the application.

Sit comfortably

ECG is preformed while sitting down and leaning slightly
and placing both hands between the thighs.

Verify Electrodes contact

Be sure that all the electrodes are in contact
with the body and shown in green.
Tap the START ECG button. Relaxing muscles,
leaning back and staying still until the ECG is done.

View ECG

Follow instructions prompted by the app the view findings.
When this link appears, tap it for instructions
on how to technically perform your ECG better.
